The Problem: High Temperatures and Reduced Performance Efficiency
The plant was facing significant performance issues during the summer months due to high ambient temperatures, which burdened the operation of the outdoor cooling units. The increase in the temperature of the air entering the condensers led to lower system efficiency and increased energy consumption.
The Solution: High-Pressure Misting for Adiabatic Cooling
ANDRIANOS undertook the design, supply, and installation of a fully automated Adiabatic Cooling system with High-Pressure Misting, specifically sized to meet the plant’s requirements.
The solution was based on high-pressure misting technology (High-Pressure Misting), which creates a water micro-droplet that evaporates instantly into the surrounding air, effectively reducing the temperature before it enters the condensers.
